CHOW Targets 200 MW with New Solar Power Acquisition

CHOW underscores its leadership in clean energy as it continues expanding its renewable energy portfolio. The company has finalized the acquisition of a 10 MW solar power plant, reinforcing its goal to reach a total installed capacity of 200 MW by the end of this year. Additionally, CHOW has over 350 MW of projects under development, ensuring sustainable income and long-term returns while advancing its strategy of investing in high-quality assets and seizing new opportunities in the clean energy market.

Mr. Anavin Jiratomsiri, Chief Executive Officer of Chow Bright Ventures Holdings Public Company Limited (CHOW), revealed that the company continues to expand its investments in renewable energy. Recently, its subsidiary Chow Energy Public Company Limited, which directly operates in the energy sector, completed a strategic acquisition of a 10 MW solar power plant from Equator Solar Capital Co., Ltd.

This acquisition marks an important milestone in line with the Group’s growth strategy to build a sustainable and scalable renewable energy portfolio.

With this new asset, Chow Energy is well on track to achieve a total installed capacity of 200 MW by the end of this year, supported by additional projects in the pipeline totaling more than 350 MW.

“This investment reflects our strategy of focusing on high-quality assets. The 10 MW solar power plant not only delivers stable long-term returns but also strengthens our clean energy portfolio. It demonstrates our capability and readiness to capture key opportunities toward becoming an industry leader,” said Mr. Anavin.
