Chow Bright Ventures Holding Partners with Huawei Digital Power in Strategic Alliance to Deliver Over 100 MW of Solar Projects by 2026
Bangkok, 11 February 2026 — Chow Bright Ventures Holdings Public Company Limited, through its energy business unit Chow Energy, a recognized leader in the renewable energy industry, has entered into a strategic partnership with Huawei Technologies (Thailand) Co., Ltd., through Huawei Digital Power, a global leader in smart energy technologies.
The collaboration was formalized through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) aimed at jointly driving the development of large-scale clean energy projects. Under this strategic cooperation, the two parties target the delivery of solar power projects with a total installed capacity exceeding 100 megawatts (MW) by 2026. This milestone marks a significant new chapter in the advancement of clean energy in Southeast Asia and reinforces both organizations’ shared commitment to supporting the transition toward sustainable carbon neutrality.
This partnership builds upon a long-standing relationship dating back to the establishment of Chow Energy in 2014. Over the past decade, Huawei Digital Power has served as a core technology and solar solution partner to Chow Energy. Together, the two companies have successfully developed and deployed more than 3,000 solar energy projects, laying a strong, stable, and widely recognized foundation for Thailand’s solar energy ecosystem.
As Thailand accelerates its journey toward carbon neutrality, the government has introduced key policies to promote large-scale renewable energy investments by improving accessibility and cost competitiveness. In this evolving landscape, Chow Energy, as a market leader in Thailand’s solar energy sector, continues to prioritize the selection of advanced, safe, and highly reliable inverter technologies and solar solutions. Solutions from Huawei Digital Power play a critical role in enabling large-scale project expansion, enhancing power generation efficiency, and strengthening long-term operational reliability.
This collaboration represents a strategic upgrade from conventional solar installations toward the integrated development of solar power systems combined with Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS)—a rapidly growing segment that addresses the increasing demand for energy stability, grid reliability, and continuous clean power supply during both daytime and nighttime operations.
Looking ahead to 2026, Chow Energy and Huawei Digital Power aim to deliver solar power projects with a combined installed capacity of more than 100 MW under Solar Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) structures. The focus will be on large-scale solar developments integrated with next-generation battery energy storage systems to enhance grid reliability and support greenhouse gas emission reductions in the industrial sector through the provision of stable and sustainable clean energy solutions.
Mr. Cristobal Shin, Chief Executive Officer of Chow Energy Public Company Limited, stated:
“Huawei has been a trusted technology partner of Chow Energy since the very beginning of our business journey. As Thailand moves decisively toward carbon neutrality, this collaboration will enable us to accelerate our expansion, integrate advanced energy storage technologies, and deliver clean energy solutions that meet the evolving needs of the industrial and commercial sectors. This partnership underscores Chow Energy’s strong commitment to supporting Thailand’s carbon reduction goals through the development and delivery of best-in-class solar power projects.”
Mr. Jack Zheng, Managing Director, Huawei Digital Power, Huawei Technologies (Thailand) Co., Ltd., added:
“We are delighted to further strengthen our long-standing collaboration with Chow Energy at this important milestone in the development of large-scale solar and energy storage projects. This partnership reflects our shared vision to accelerate solar energy adoption in Thailand and Southeast Asia, while delivering safe, reliable, and intelligent energy solutions that support sustainable long-term growth.”
This strategic collaboration highlights the power of long-term partnerships, advanced technology, and a shared sustainability vision, which will play a vital role in driving Thailand and the Southeast Asian region toward a cleaner, more resilient, and sustainable energy future.
